**** SORRY FOR THE CAPS***
COULD BE A VENT PROBLEM NOT ENOUGH AIR FOR THE PIPES TO RUN SMOOTHLY
OR IT COULD BE A SMALL AMOUNT OF SOAP BUILD-UP.

TRY SOME LIKE LIQUID PLUMBER OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF PIPE DRAINER.

Slow drains can be created by your builders. quite often during new construction rough-in plumbing is left uncapped at deck level where wood shavings etc. can get down the pipe. a new house should still have some warranty time left -- if not -- sounds like the time to call roto-router and have the branch line checked for debris. venting is either going to work or not and in the same way each time -- clogs often act in strange ways and create slow drains as you describe.

It could be that the drain vents were never hooked up. You did say it was a new house. My sister had a new home built and kept noticing water getting under their home. They spent a lot of money building up the dirt around the house to only discover that the plumber never hooked up the drains after final inspections. I would suggest you call the plumber that did the work. We all make mistakes.

If it is a new house as you say then you have a serious problem. Either the plumber did not properly vent the drain system, or the sewer tie in is faulty, (not enough pitch in main sewer line).
Contact the builder to find out who plumbed the home.
