Dry creek beds of french drains?

Does anyone know of a website that has pics of french drains or dry creek beds? I have major drainage issues in my hilly/sloping back yard and need some ideas! The excess water runs down the hill and out off of our property into the farmer’s field which he is not happy about! Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Not necessarily a french drain, but there is a pretty cool new product called pervious concrete. Check it out on Concreteresources.net

well if you can get a hold of a good site engineer or site company they can cut up your yard for proper drainage
    good luck

I include ‘dry streams’ in many of my designs and they are fantastic.Interesting when dry and novel when it rains. I will send you some info. You should also consider a rain garden.

    Try this site hgtv.com/hgtv/gl_design_other/article/0,1785,HGTV_3566_1370513,00.html

Also My Dad used to dig diversion ditches around the hilly parts to divert the water. You may try checking that out as it would probably cost a lot less.
